Weekend Retreat on the Oregon Coast
Join Certified Daring Way Facilitators Kirk Shepard of Rootstock Counseling, Meg Jeske of LionTree Counseling, Jenni O'Dell of Daring Redding, and DaLene Forester for a weekend exploring the impact of story in your relational and emotional life. The Rising Strong™ process teaches us to foster curiosity about our emotions when we’re hurt, and how to challenge our stories so we can rumble with the underlying hurts.
Friday, March 16th: 5 - 9:30 pm
Saturday, March 17th: 9 am - 6:30 pm
Sunday, March 18th: 9 am - 3:30 pm
Location & lodging
The retreat will take place in a beautiful, privately owned house a block from the ocean in Seaside, Oregon. Participants will stay off site and are responsible for booking their own accommodations. This workshop focuses on interactive, experiential learning about the impact of story on our emotional & relational lives.
Who should attend?
This retreat is suitable for individuals committed to personal growth work. People often prefer to attend with a friend, partner, sibling, or parent.
The Rising Strong™ Curriculum
is based on the research and writing of Brené Brown, a PhD social work researcher from Houston, Texas and the author of several books including Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, The Gifts of Imperfection, and I Thought it was Just Me, But it Isn't, and Braving the Wilderness.
Continuing Education Details:
NBCC: AEI/DaLene Forester, PhD is approved by the National Board for Certi ed Counselors to provide continuing education (ACEP #6657).
This training consists of 15 NBCC clock hours of continuing education for LCSWs, LMFTs and LPCCs.
Psychologists: AEI/DaLene Forester, PhD is approved
by the California Psychological Association to provide continuing professional education for psychologists. CPA Credit Provider # ADV010. This course meets the quali cations for 15 CE credits for psychologists. AEI maintains sole responsibility for AEI programs. Many other states recognize CA CEs. If you are attending and not licensed in CA, contact your licensing board to determine if they recognize CA CEs prior to attending.
